Why me?

Midori Connolly is on a mission to do great things, with great people, for the greater good.  With two decades of experience in events, elections, and cybersecurity, Midori is a master at making technology more human and approachable. 

Midori's expertise spans a wide range of topics, from cybersecurity to inclusive learning design. She is passionate about helping others master complex topics in a practical and approachable way. With a BA in International Business and an MS in Organizational Performance and Workplace Learning, Midori understands the importance of cultural sensitivity and adult learning theory in creating engaging and effective training experiences. 

As a seasoned speaker and trainer, Midori has presented to diverse audiences ranging from small groups to thousands, across the globe. Her sessions are interactive and dynamic, with opportunities for engagement, discussion, and hands-on learning. Participants leave with practical tools, handouts, and worksheets that they can immediately apply in their work.

A committed volunteer for Women in Cybersecurity, Midori is a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion in technology. She enjoys mentoring women in technology and believes that everyone should have equal access to the benefits of technology.

In her spare time, Midori can be found exploring the sunny foothills of rural San Diego with her husband and two adult children, wandering the hills on horseback, or getting her hands dirty in the garden. She is a lifelong learner who is always seeking new ways to connect with people and make a positive impact on the world.
